NEWS:
Well, the 2008/2009 season is over! Once again, time has flown by.
Even with all the cancellations due to rain, we had a fantastic season.
We would like to thank the many parents who helped throughout the season,
and we look forward to seeing you all again next season.
Low numbers attending the state meets didn't slow us down, it saw us win
the Southern Centre Challenge day, and bring home a big haul of medals from
the State Championships. Congratulations to all those Athletes!
The 2009/2010 season marks our 30th Anniversary year, and it will be a great
season!
Remember March 21st is our Centre Presentation Day.
Be sure to come along to collect your certificates, ribbons, medallion and
your special thank you gift!
From 11am to 1:30pm
If your children are not yet involved in Athletics, but would like more information,
please contact us and we will be happy to pass on any information you require.
On the 20th September we held our
Orientation day, which, aside from the rain, was a great success, we saw
many new kids come along to see what Little Athletics is all about. Some
of our existing Athletes came also and helped us show the new ones how
much fun it is to be involved in Little Athletics.
The kids got to try out some events, and we also had some Egg and
spoon races and three legged races. Freddo came to visit and gave out Chocolates
to everybody.
A big thankyou goes out to our Face Painters, who did a fantastic
job!
